Race and the Trayvon Martin Case

I think race has A LOT to do with why Trayvon was killed. On February 26, 2010, Trayvon Martin (who was a young African American)  was killed by an older white male (George Zimmerman) who was a neighborhood watch coordinator. Trayvon was walking home from getting snacks at a store with a grey sweatshirt on with the hood up.. Zimmerman saw Trayvon and told dispatchers he looked suspicious. How could he have looked suspicious? What was he doing to where Zimmerman thought that? What i think made Zimmerman think that is because he was black and walking at night with his hood up... 

The dispatcher told Zimmerman to not approach the young man, but zimmerman did still. Zimmerman tried to say he killed Trayvon out of self defense. People in the neighborhood said they heard arguing, and then a gunshot. When cops arrived to the scene Trayvon was in the grass face in the grass. He had no pulse. Cops and paramedics tried to get him back to life, but it didn't work. Trayvon was reported dead at about 7 something that night. Now the question is,   Would the case have developed in the same way if Trayvon Martin were a young white male and George Zimmerman black?If Trayvon Martin were white, would he have been approached in his own neighborhood by a black self-styled security guard? If Trayvon Martin were white, would anyone have made the assumption that he was the aggressor? If Trayvon Martin were white, would his assailant have been permitted to walk away or would he have been immediately jailed and high bail set?  I think if Trayvon was white non of this would have happened and he wouldn't be dead right now. If he was white and Zimmerman was black, Zimmerman wouldn't have approached him. But because Trayvon was black he was killed. There's no good reasoning for this AT ALL and its sickening. It's sickening to me because im black. That can happen to me... Zimmerman got put in jail but on bail. That's not right he should of got LIFE!
